Today in Central Park, 230 ballet dancers stood en pointe for one minute and seven seconds, breaking the previous record of 220 dancers. Their graceful effort helped raise donations for the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club. Meanwhile, it took me one minute and seven seconds to retrieve a stubborn eyelash hiding underneath my eyelid. No donations were accepted, but I made a wish. The tutu should be arriving shortly.
